One of the most important messages of this website that we are trying to get across is that the real power is with the people, the people who vote not just in the general election, but the primary, and the school board elections. Many countries do not even allow their people to vote. Some people let life pass them by like a warm summer's day, they never stick their neck out but keep it buried in the sand scared of getting it cut off. The information is out there, it is up to you to become informed and to get involved. Everyone has heard the excuse, "It's just one vote, it won't make a difference." If you don't vote it definitely won't make a difference. As long as you are 18 and hold the right to vote, you can run for office yourself if you so choose.
